Coda Signal

Bridal makeup studio · by appointment

A bride in soft morning daylight, photographed from behind as she holds her bouquet

Coda Signal

Makeup that stays quiet and stays put.

A small bridal studio built around one idea: you should still look like yourself in every photograph, from the first button to the last song. Skin first, colour second, nothing that needs rescuing at nine in the evening.

What you can book

Three ways to work together

Every booking is held for a single date and includes the full morning schedule, so there is never a queue behind you.

01

The Bridal Day

Wedding-morning makeup at your get-ready location, timed around your photographer and the moment you need to be in the dress.

  • Skin prep and lash work included
  • Arrival, schedule and finish time agreed in advance
  • Touch-up kit matched to your shade, yours to keep

02

The Trial Session

An unhurried studio appointment to decide on the look, test how it wears and remove every question before the day itself.

  • Two finished variations to compare in daylight
  • Notes and product list written up for you
  • Best booked once the dress is chosen

03

The Bridal Party

Coordinated makeup for the people getting ready alongside you — bridesmaids, mothers and anyone else in the room.

  • Added to a bridal booking, same morning
  • A softer read of your look, not a copy of it
  • Order of service planned so nobody waits

How it works

From first note to last look

Four steps, all of them in plain language. You will always know what happens next and roughly when.

  1. Step one

    Send your date

Use the form below with your wedding date and the kind of venue. You will hear back about availability and what the morning would look like.

  2. Step two

    Hold the morning

If the date is open, it is reserved for you alone. No second booking is taken for that morning, whatever time you start.

  3. Step three

    Trial and notes

We build the look together in the studio, photograph it in daylight and write down every product and placement so the day is a repeat, not a guess.

  4. Step four

    The morning itself

Arrival is timed to your schedule, the bridal party is worked through in a set order, and you are finished with room to breathe before photographs.

A note from the studio

Skin first, always

Most of what people call long-wearing makeup is really good preparation. If the skin is calm and properly primed, the colour has almost nothing to do.

I keep the kit small and deliberate. Everything is tested on the trial before it goes near the wedding morning, sensitivities are noted and worked around, and nothing is applied on the day that you have not already seen on yourself. If you would rather wear very little, that is a look I am glad to build too.

Questions

Before you write

Do you travel to the venue?
Yes. Wedding-morning bookings are on location, wherever you are getting ready. Travel beyond the usual service area is possible and is confirmed when you enquire.
How early do you arrive?
Arrival is set once your photographer's schedule is known — usually with enough margin that you finish before the dress, not during it. The exact timing is written into your booking note.
I have sensitive or reactive skin. Is that a problem?
Not at all, and the trial is where it gets solved. Tell me what your skin reacts to and the kit is adjusted for it, then tested on you well ahead of the day.
How many people can you take in one morning?
Bridal party numbers are agreed in advance so the schedule stays comfortable. If the group is large, an assisting artist can be arranged rather than compressing the timings.
Is a trial required?
It is strongly encouraged and it is where most of the work happens. If your date is close, tell me in the form and we will find the nearest workable option.
